Paediatric Osteopathy

Paediatric osteopathy uses gentle manual and cranial techniques to treat young children and new born infants.

Louise completed a Masters degree at The Osteopathic Centre for Children in 2008. As a paediatric osteopath she continues to enhance her knowledge working in this specialist field. She has over 15 years experience working with babies and children and finds working with families extremely interesting and rewarding.

Osteopathy for babies and children is individual and unique for every child depending on the reasons for the child presenting, their age, medical history, development and so much more. Parents may bring their child to see an osteopath for a variety of health issues that may benefit from osteopathic care.

Louise will take a detailed case history from the parents for babies and sometimes the child, if appropriate and they are older, to get them involved and understanding what to expect. She will then examine the baby or child to enable a diagnosis and treatment and management plan for each child.
